1972 Snow-jet Snowmobile Carb Type

blood orange granita

slush in the winter? Yes, indeed! Generally begin to prepare the slush at the end of March, and because there are still oranges later, either because the temperature is a lot nicer. This time the excuse was to have many, many blood oranges at home, so I anticipated a little 'time!

The ingredients that are needed are:

250 ml.
of blood orange juice 500 ml.
water 250 g.
granulated sugar 1 heaping tablespoon of cornstarch or frumina

The process is really easy, an extreme speed!
put sugar in a bowl, add the frumina (or alternatively, the cornstarch) and stir well. Then add slowly the orange juice, stirring, and then add the water. Mixed from top to bottom to avoid the sugar deposits only on the bottom of the container. Place in freezer after an hour and resume the slush, stirring again, and putting in freezer. When you serve you will not need to pass it in the ice crusher, frumina used to maintain the soft texture and consistency that results is a little more lumpy sorbet. With these doses can fill 6 cups.

With this recipe I participate in the contest Citrus Il cookbook Cynthia
